Frequently Asked Questions

Who can take courses?
ITLS offers two core programs: the Basic Course for first responders, PCP. The Advanced Course is for PCP, ICP, ACP, Registered Nurses and physicians. Please note that some professional groups may only require a basic level provider because of scope of practice regulations within the profession. Always contact your professional licensing group for specific requirements.

Lost card?
Please contact ITLS Saskatchewan. Your course instructor/coordinator can not issue a replacement card/certificate. ITLS Saskatchewan does require to know when you took your training to properly locate the roster to issue a new certificate. A fee of $20.00 will be assessed on all replacement cards and/or certificates.

How do I become an instructor?
If you are interested in becoming an instructor, please contact ITLS Saskatchewan directly for details. ITLS Saskatchewan can provide you with the current policy and process required to become an instructor. If you are currently an ITLS instructor in another province please contact ITLS Saskatchewan for possible reciprocity. Please note that currently ITLS Saskatchewan is not training any new instructors.
