Continuation of ITLS Programing

In line with the reopen strategic plan put forth by the Government of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan ITLS Advisory Board has no issues with full courses being delivered in either a blended or face to face environment - as long as certain safety measures are followed.

The alternative pathway will continue to be an alternative solution. Please click here to find out more.

Blended delivery can be done, where lectures are presented through a virtual platform followed by face-face instruction and evaluation of skills, assessments and simulation.

When offering courses face-to-face, class sizes should be reduced to ensure social distancing. Any time participants are required to perform tasks/skills/scenarios where social distancing cannot be maintained - a mask must be worn. Equipment must be wiped down and disinfected after each participant. Instructors should encourage frequent hand-washing, and have hand sanitizer readily available.

Participants should be conducting a COVID self-assessment, similar to the one offered by the Government of Saskatchewan (click here) before entering a course. Any participant that is experiencing symptoms should not be coming into a course.
